"Andre Young, a.k.a. Dr Dre, co-founded the notorious rap group N.W.A. (with Ice Cube and Eazy-E). The group was one of the most successful hip-hop groups of the late 1980s and helped lay the foundations of west coast gangsta rap. Dre's 1993 solo effort, The Chronic, was a critical and popular success. Later in the 1990's, Dre turned his attention to producing. Airline Ticket Purchase

Winter is just about to descend on my part of the country which means it’s time for me to start planning a winter break. I usually try and pick somewhere warm and free of snow. Planning early has been the key to finding the best prices, so I’m generally start looking around the beginning of October, for flights in February. Years ago, we had to trudge down to the travel agent for our airline ticket purchases.

In those days I felt as though I was at the mercy of the agent. She or he would tell me what my best deal was and I didn’t even get a peek at the other airline prices. Today it’s so much different as anyone can make airline ticket purchases right from their home computer.

I usually try and research the ticket prices over a few days. The rates can go up and down quite a bit and when I do happen to see a good deal, I try and grab it. The discount travel sites sometimes have the best prices on airline ticket purchases, but overall I’ve found that the airline websites are really the place to find the deals.

Another huge change has been how the tickets are presented. I can remember a time when everyone had a huge paper ticket that they’d have to present at the counter when checking in at the airport. The ticket had all the information the airline needed and those tickets were created during the time of the airline ticket purchases. You could usually request a certain seat, aisle or window, but you really didn’t have all the choices you have now.

Today I can log onto the website of my preferred carrier. I can search for flights at the time of day I want, either morning, afternoon or evening. I can even pick exactly what seat I want to sit in for every leg of the trip. In fact, after I’ve made my airline ticket purchases, I can easily change seats or even flights by using their website.

It’s also a bit different when you check-in for your flight now, as well. Many airlines offer their passengers the convenience of checking in online. You’ll receive a confirmation number whenever you make airline ticket purchases and this number replaces an actual paper ticket. You may also be able to use a self-serve kiosk at the airport to check-in. It’s much faster and you’ll get through to your gate in no time at all.

An Angel Christmas Tree

There are many themes to choose from when decorating our Christmas trees. An Angel Christmas tree theme is one of the most delightful. Angels bespeak the glorious joy of Christmas as do few other themes. If you choose Angels as your Christmas tree focus, you're in luck! Angels connote the divine, mystical, glorious and protective beings beloved around the world.

If you're looking for an Angel Christmas tree decoration, be prepared to be overwhelmed! One of the most favored decorations, an Angel Christmas tree decoration can take many forms. Blown glass, paper mache and fabric creations are just a few of your available choices. Glass ornaments of Angels, decorated with gold, silver or glitter accents add sparkle and vibrancy to an Angel Christmas tree theme. Search your crafts store for miniature ornaments of Angels.

Be aware of the myriad possibilities when choosing an Angel Christmas tree decorating scheme. A quick search of the net reveals an almost endless array of disparate Angel decorations. Some are quite inexpensive, while others are very special and pricey. You can find a mix of both for an Angel Christmas tree display that is stunning!

When coordinating an Angel Christmas tree decorating theme, you may want to consider period pieces. For example, you may want to search out Angel ornaments popular in the 19th century to create an Angel Christmas tree with an old-fashioned look. Or, perhaps a Scandinavian Angel theme, with hand painted pieces in bright colors is what you want.

Whatever peiod or look you decide on, try to coordinate an Angel Christmas tree theme for an integrated, unified look. If your design echoes the 19th century, string the tree with popcorn and cranberries, with tiny candle-like lights. If you opt for the more modern design, use crystal icicles and red apple ornaments as your backdrops. An Angel Christmas tree motif invites like benevolent ornaments, such as a Partridge in a Pear tree, Nativity and Santa ornaments.

Cookie ornaments of Angels lend a homemade touch. No matter the period, Angel cookies can be adapted to suit an Angel Christmas tree theme. Your cookies may be simple, homespun renditions of the country look. They may also be sophisticated glittery edibles. Frost them accordingly.

An Angel Christmas tree is one of the most beautiful. Search out all of the Angels avaialble, coordinate your period theme, and decorate with gusto! An Angel Christmas theme is a winner! And Merry Christmas to you!

Fitness Walking

I used to think that fitness walking was a silly idea. Sure, a walk is great for clearing the head, and it is always important to stay fit, but I'd never thought of walking for fitness is a realistic possibility. I was a jogger, you see. If someone had used a term like aerobic walking when talking to me, I would assume that they were just using some kind of strange newfangled euphemism for jogging. After all, aren't they essentially the same activity? The only difference is that jogging is done faster and more vigorously, and hence makes a better aerobic exercise.
But of course, I suffered from the same denial that so many joggers suffer from. Jogging is great for your cardiovascular health, it is great for your metabolism, but it is not so great for your joints. It was only a matter of time before my jogging caused serious injuries. I was one of the lucky ones – I was able to make a full recovery, which many injured joggers are not able to do. But my doctor told me that my days of jogging were over. I would have to try something new.
That is when one of my friends introduced me to the joys of fitness walking. Fitness walking may be a less vigorous activity, but it is still possible to get a full aerobic workout, and as a bonus it does not damage your joints. Another advantage that fitness walking has over jogging is that you get a little bit more of a chance to enjoy the scenery. When I was a fitness jogger, I would put on my jogging tunes, and start going as quickly as I could. I would use music to psych me up, and never you pay any attention at all to my surroundings. Although you can take this approach to fitness walking as well, plugging in your Walkman or your iPod and chugging away as quickly as possible, I find that it is much easier to enjoy your surroundings at the slightly slower rate that you take. This means that, not only does fitness walking allow you to exercise without straining your joints, but it also allows you to exercise without missing out on your surroundings. Walking for fitness combines all the best things of a jog with all the best things of a nice walk in the park. I cannot recommend it enough!
